Every celebration in our home consists of a trinket for each of our guests to take with them in commemoration of the event. This year’s Canada Day celebration included.

We purchased white bags with handles, filled them with guest favours, and tied a bright red ribbon into a bow around the handle. We stamped the front of the bag with a maple leaf in red ink. The effect was simple and festive—and easy—taking all of 15 minutes.
