Melt the chocolate over a double-boiler or in the microwave on medium power for 30 seconds. Cut each strawberry in half, and with a toothpick join the halves together so that it resembles a heart. Take the end of the strawberry and dip it in the melted chocolate letting any excess drip off before placing on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature; do not put in the refrigerator. When almost set, remove the toothpick.
